Genius of Liberty suffrage exhibit at Cincinnati public library

The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County is celebrating the 2020 centennial with an exhibit that focuses on the contributions of Ohio women in the fight for women’s suffrage. The Genius of Liberty: The Long Struggle for Women’s Equality exhibit is named after an 1850 feminist publication by Cincinnatian Elisabeth Aldrich and covers the period from the 1848 in Seneca Falls through adoption of the 19th Amendment.

The exhibit is on display through April 26 at the Cincinnati public library’s Main Library location at 800 Vine Street in Cincinnati.
